Participants will learn how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of aggression and potential violence.  Discussion will include the use of verbal and nonverbal skills to slow down the sequence of events, enhance situational awareness, conduct a threat assessment, and allow for better decision-making in order to reduce the likelihood of a situation escalating into a physical confrontation or injury.
