The MRPC held a debrief workshop on December 9, 2020 for stakeholders to review the first phase of the COVID-19 response (February – November 2020). Workshop objectives including assessing situational awareness and information sharing, regional resource coordination and success stories/barriers in order to inform an After Action Report and Improvement Plan (AAR/IP). Survey data from participants and stakeholders is also incorporated into the AAR/IP.

The topic of this virtual MRPC stakeholder meeting on May 6, 2021 was Building Capacity for Disability Inclusion in Emergency Preparedness. The guest speaker was Sue Wolf-Fordham, JD, MPA, Senior Manager, Association of University Centers on Disabilities, and Deputy Director, National Technical Assistance and Training Center on Disability Inclusion in Emergency Preparedness.
